Tempurpedic is awesome, but costs about $3000. A four inch memory foam mattress topper is made of the same stuff, though, usually costs around $200, and gives similar comfort and health benefits for people who weigh less than 180 pounds.
Maybe you should go try them and decide for yourself. Seems they all push their product but with the cost involved in some of them I would try them. Most stores are not opposed to you laying down on them so go for it.
