We tried one and did not like it at all. It kept your shape so well when you lay on it that when you tried to turn over in the bed you were stuck in the memory spot!

We have a memory foam mattress topper – not the full mattress. It’s quite comfy, but we find it a bit too warm on humid nights.

It shouldn’t, memory foam isn’t supposed to be hard (even at it’s most firm, it’s not really hard) so I wonder if what you bought is really memory foam.
I have one and I live it but I got a firm one (I think the person who posted above me just didn’t get a firm enough one because it’s supposed to go flat on it’s surface again after you get up or roll over.

I did the same with the foam pillow. I found it to be very hard, the cause was I was using the ‘right’ pillow case. I put a king pillow case on a standard foam pillow, now it can expand and contract.
Try a foam topper first, for a lot less money. The do hold in a lot of heat and I have to assume moisture.

I work where they are sold and customers have different reactions. A friend of mine bought a pillow for her dad and he hated it. My dad bought one and he loves it? He has now bought a mattress and finds it great and swears he now sleeps better, he says his bad back has gone where it moulds to your shape. I must say about 80% customers seem satisfied. If i were you, i would go to a shop and have a good bounce on one ha and see how you feel.
