How Much Should I Sell This For At A Yard Sale?
I have a log cabin type head board (unfinished), Queen size mattress and box springs, and also the bed frame.
I was thinking $100. It was only used for one year, then put in the guest room for the last two years, and only slept on two or three times.
It’s in great shape. But we bought a memory foam set, and we are having a baby now and this set needs to go, so we can convert the guest room into a baby room.

I think 100 is good, you can go down if it’s late in the sale, but I would start with that. Especially with a gently used mattress set.
I wouldn’t sell it at a yard sell. I would post it on Craig’s list or something along those lines. You could probably get more money for it. And at yard sells no one goes in paying what you ask for it. They always try to talk the price down. Save yourself the grief of haggling with people and post it on the Internet. I would try selling it for $300.00. No ones going to get a full bed set in good condition for less.
$100 is good. I think if you advertise your sale in the paper you may want to mention you have that and put the price in the ad. Not many people go yard saleing with that much money and on weekends banks are closed. But someone looking for a bed would probably be looking in the paper for moving sales and such things.
Good luck with your sale and your new baby.
about 40 to 70 dollars remember yard sales are for people to think they are getting a good deal. i would sell it in that range. if it doesnt sell at that yard sale there is e bay witch you could sell it there for 150. good luck!
I doubt you’ll be able to sell a used mattress. I for one, would never buy it.
$100 might seem reasonable to someone who has the same taste. I personally don’t like that style.
Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy.
More than $100 – log beds sell for more than that new.
Throw in the mattress set for free. At least $175 –
On the other hand, its a steal at $100 and you may sell it quicker.
See how much you can get for it…but I would never buy a used mattress and in some states it is illegal to sell them. But, good luck 100.00 sounds reasonable…or B.O.
Price it at 120.00 so that the first bargainer can get 20.00 off, and you can get your 100.00
If it doesn’t sell, reduce the price until it does……
At least $300.00. My Brother in law bought a bed very similar to yours and paid over $1000.00 for it.
$80 – $100. Alot of people checking out garage sales don’t have alot of money to spend. I’d knock it down to 80 or 75 if they end up buying alot of items from you.
I would price it a little higher if it is in brilliant condition.
That’s a good price!!
Congrads on the New BABY!!!
start big like around 16 million dollars! lol just jokin i really dont know
hmm $100 will be a good deal ;]
it looks good. $100 is reasonable enough.
if i am to buy, i can even settle for a $150.
congratulations!
i think u can only sell $90 coz it’s a second-handed good.
to tell u truth i would not buy it for 100$ i would offer at least 60$ sorry but thts my opinion kk take care
